Happy New Year, UVA Community!

As we settle into the rhythm of 2026, we want to ensure you have the most up-to-date information regarding our office operations and who to reach out to when you need a hand. Whether you’re a returning resident or just joining the Village, here is everything you need to know for the semester ahead.

We’ve adjusted our schedule to better serve the community’s needs. Please note that our hours are determined by CalMessages updates and ongoing operational requirements.

8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Saturday

9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Sunday

Closed

Note on Holidays: The office is closed for all Academic and Administrative Holidays. We will resume normal operational hours the following business day.

Not sure where to direct your question? Use this quick-reference guide to get to the right person faster:

  • General Inquiries & Package Issues: Contact the Main Office during the hours listed above.

  • Maintenance Requests: For non-urgent repairs (leaky faucets, lightbulbs), please submit a ticket via the Resident Portal.

  • Urgent Maintenance (After Hours): For emergencies like flooding or total power loss, call the After-Hours Emergency Line.

  • Lockouts: During office hours, see the front desk. After hours, contact the GFL Lockout Phone Number: (510)703-6166.

  • Community Concerns: Reach out to your designated Senior Community Director (SCD) for matters regarding community standards and/ or neighbor relations.

Because our hours are subject to change based on operational needs, we highly recommend keeping an eye on your inbox for Messages from Grad & Family Housing as well as the UVA Announcements. We do our best to provide as much lead time as possible for any schedule shifts.
