Antonio Robinson

Assistant Director of Community Engagement

I’m Antonio Robinson (he, him, his) and I bring East Coast charm and Midwest insight to life in California. With a passion for supporting students, building community, and developing strong networks, I believe in the importance of creating connection between living and learning environments. My educational background includes an MSEd in Higher Education & Student Affairs from Indiana University (Bloomington, IN) and also a B.A. in Communication (Mass Media Studies) from the University of Delaware. My interests include running, attending live music events, watching & playing sports, and spending time with family (aka being a husband + taking care of his two dogs & cat too!). Before starting at UC Berkeley, I worked professionally in both K-12 and higher ed settings. Throughout my career, I have worked in a wide variety of functional areas and university offices. including student housing & residential life, student academic resource & support centers, a postdoctoral office, an office for inclusive excellence, and an office of communication & marketing. With these roles in mind, I remain focused on building relationships and mentoring a diverse community of staff, graduate students, and families at UC Berkeley & beyond!
