 Reminder: Parking Permits Required at University Village Albany (UVA)

The 2025-2026 academic year will be the third year that parking permits or visitor parking fees have been required to park at University Village, and you can view a summary of your parking permit options at: pt.berkeley.edu/UVA

 

If you’ve been cited as the result of an expired parking permit, it is recommended that you renew your parking permit as soon as possible to avoid receiving future parking citations and then appeal your citation through My P&T Online at pt.berkeley.edu/online using your CalNet Login and clicking the “View Your Citations” link. Please be aware that it is the permit holders’ responsibility to ensure they have a valid parking permit at all times so we recommend setting calendar reminders for important vehicular events like vehicle registration renewal, insurance, and parking permit expiration dates.

 

If you feel burdened by the expense of owning, operating, and maintaining a motor vehicle, P&T can refer you to resources where you can sell or dispose of your vehicle, as well as the BerkeleyMoves! program can assist you in planning trips on transit or other mobility providers.
